In-House, Domestic and Foreign Tooling Sources

While the basic process of plastic injection moulding is relatively simple, involving only a handful of key elements, mastering the process at the level that Meyis Automotive has is considerably more difficult. We think of our specific methods as "scientific molding"—we experiment with different variables and collect data that helps us optimize our injection molding processes. This helps us achieve maximum efficiency, provide superior quality plastic injection molded parts, and maintain perfect repeatability for parts in quantities in the millions.

To tackle your most complex projects, we provide an array of specialized plastic molding techniques. Our custom injection molding capabilities including:

  • Overmolding
  • Insert Molding

Meyis Automotive has maintained a full service in-house tool room for over 20 years, which has grown and expanded to meet the needs of our current and future customers. Our capabilities include design and manufacture of exceptional quality injection molds, fixtures, prototypes, automation, and end-of-arm tooling. Our knowledge of materials and the injection molding process is integrated into the project from the initial part design consultation, through the mold design process, resulting in a finished tool that is designed for high volume, efficient, and cost effective production. We focus on the very best tool design as the foundation for excellent manufacturing. We then match the injection mold with appropriate automation, end-of-arm tooling, and in process validation to ensure repeatable quality performance.

We seek local and global alternatives for our tooling sources to provide the best solution for custom requirements and budget parameters. As a US-based company, we maintain strong relationships with domestic tooling sources that have historically provided excellent work for us, allowing us to offer multiple options for timely, cost-effective tool sourcing.
